Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Incentive for Lost Dog in Mexico to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh football star Ramsey has boosted the bounty for information regarding his missing dog Halo to £15k.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff player, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, stated that Halo was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato region.
The beagle, who vanished on October 9th, was had on a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey shared a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any information regarding our pet Halo please get in touch with us. Substantial bounty for finding her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and will return to our side shortly," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Initial Bounty and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey first disclosed that his dog had vanished two weeks ago and has subsequently posted multiple pictures of the beloved pet on Instagram.
A $$10k reward was originally announced, but with absence of information on Halo's whereabouts after a week, the player and his family doubled the reward.
"Our only wish is Halo home," he expressed in an additional plea on his online platforms after the decade-old dog was lost.
The latest image share is a grayscale photo of Halo napping, its head resting in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the message: "What I'd do to hold you once more Halo."
Family's Worries and Context
The footballer has additionally circulated a note from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on online channels indicating they have a few "important queries" about the event and worry the household "may never get answers".
"We still haven't found Halo. I fear we will ever," the spouse's update expressed.
The Welsh leader signed with Mexico's premier club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his debut in Liga MX in the eighth month.
